100% Recyclable Packaging in the UK
The Government has announced there will be a ban on certain single use plastics from October 2023 In England. This includes polystyrene take away boxes and cups. The most cost effective alternative to polystyrene is polypropylene which is fully recyclable.
Polysterene Ban Scotland
Since the 1st June 2022, Scottish legislation implemented a ban on single-use plastics.

Polysterene Ban England
With effect from October 2023. The government in England is introducting a ban on single-use plastics, this includes single-use plastic plates, trays, bowls, cutlery and certain types of polystyrene cups and food containers.
If you are within the catering, hospitality, leisure, retail industry or other industries serving food and beverages using polystyrene or similar plastic products you will need to abide by this legislation.
